Take a cause, Walk for a cause
Unity is always a dire necessity when one wants to create an impact. If genuine interest towards
contributing to the needy helped the emergence of Street Cause, its creditable sustenance has been
backed up by a consummate team that’s committed to work together in its execution. Freedom for
Education, a walk that was planned on the 14th of August, 2011 for creating awareness regarding the
uncompromised requirement of educating orphans saw a wonderful turnout of supporters dominated by
an energetic lot of teenagers. On an early Sunday morning, people were all geared up to extend their
helping hand to support such a sincere cause. While the city folks were contented cozying up in their
beds, people barged in from various corners of the twin cities rushing in their cars, bikes with their
pals, relations at Jalavihar to make their presence felt in this prestigious walk.
Street Cause with their active group of volunteers encouraged the walkers since the start
that had kept the atmosphere vibrant. In fact besides the cause of the walk, nothing could have
augured better for a common man who’s heartfelt to use his sweat for a noble purpose. As people
sported various hues in their morning wears, the walk brimmed with energy from every quarter with
slogans cheering “Street Cause” for their effort behind the fabulous event. A stamp was tattooed on
the participants as a sign of appreciation for the same. The walk proceeded sans any ambiguity with
perfect co-ordination with regard to traffic and the crowd management. The money generated in the
event was transferred to the account allocated to for the orphan education.
Thus every participant went back home with an undeniable satisfaction in the happiness of being
a part of an event that was earnest in its attempt and with a hope of being a part of such events in
the future too. Street Cause has once again justified its value as an organisation in pulling off such a
splendid event without any hassles that exemplified the notion of selfless service .
